The Word Of God

Bible is the word of God, without error as originally written. Its content has been preserved by Him, and is the final authority in all matters of doctrine and faith. John 1:1 says 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God'. Later John 1:14 says 'And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth'. Clearly, Jesus is specifically referenced here. We can get a clearer description from Revelation 19:13 as 'He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called The Word of God'. So, Jesus is the Word of God and Jesus Himself say about scripture as 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God' (Matthew 4:4). So with a prayerful heart let us meditate the Word of God.
